Petrox Resources Corp. (PETROX) is a public Canadian junior oil and gas company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (trading symbol PTC). Petrox is engaged in the exploration and development of oil and natural gas resources in the Western Canadian Basin.

PETROX has assembled 16.625 sections (10,640 acres) of 100% working interest lands in the emerging Viking light oil play in the Halkirk and Battle areas of central Alberta.

Currently, the corporation is pursuing sources of funding to initiate the development of its properties in this Viking light oil resource play fairway.
